Preparation: The damaged area to be repaired must be clean, dry and free of grease. Remove any loose, protruding parts before the repair. Colour selection: Select suitable colour shades. Make sure to always use several colour shades from light to dark. Melting and mixing: Activate the melter as described on the back - the melting blade heats up immediately. Melt and mix small portions of filler. Filling: Allow the wax mixture to flow into the damaged area. Filling: The damaged area must always be slightly overfilled! Levelling: The excess wax is now removed with the pointed planing grooves of the Special Fillers Applicator. Precise Adjustment: For fine tuning, imitate the grain with a darker filler. Then remove the excess material again with the planing grooves. Degreasing: Sand down any remaining filler with the sandpaper. Start with the coarse sandpaper (150) and then change to the finer grit (240). Note: Sand carefully and only with light pressure over the surface. Sealing: To protect against dust and dirt, apply a sealant using the AQUA Brush Pen Clear Lacquer. Paint the damaged area evenly in one direction. If possible, do not paint the surrounding area. Oiling: Once the sealant has dried, apply picobello® Premium Special Oil to a cotton cloth and rub into the repaired area and the surrounding area to restore the character of the oiled/waxed surface. Repeat this process if necessary.
